The holiday farm \u201cBadiula\u201d is located halfway between Syracuse and Catania, just 15 minutes from the airport Fontanarossa. The strategic position of the farm, situated along the path of the River San Leonardo and in a short distance from the sea, allows also to reach easily the most beautiful destinations of Eastern Sicily, as Syracuse, Catania, Taormina, Noto and Mount Etna.
Here, citrus fruits are mainly cultivated (pigmented oranges or Blood oranges: Tarocco, Moro \u2013 excellent quality), fruit trees (peaches), olive trees (with oil production for farm uses) and its products are the result of a great expertise in the agricultural world, passed on from generation to generation: in the fields natural fertilizers are widely used; on the contrary, harmful pesticides are never used in order to maintain a high quality standard.
Badiula looks after the vegetables production with great interest, keeping intact the old rural tradition.
The dishes of Badiula are prepared with fresh natural homemade ingredients, in order to allow guests to appreciate and learn something about the Sicilian culinary culture through the skillful preparation of appetizers, main courses with fresh pasta, meat, typical cheeses and local cakes.
Furthermore, the holiday farm offers to its guests the possibility to spend their holiday in cozy and well-furnished rooms. In particular, two of the 8 rooms are equipped for people with a disability and provided with all comforts: personal bathroom, TV, minibar, hairdryer, bed linen, towels, telephone and air conditioning.
Finally, the wellness center of Badiula offers a wide variety of treatments and services for relaxation and body care, for example: thermal path, Turkish bath, tepee saune, Roman saune, hammam route, mud treatment, Russian bania and numerous types of massage.<\/p>\n
